General Questions
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I am a Nikon girl through and through because I absolutely love the colors it captures. I shoot with a mirrorless and a DSLR. My go-to lenses are 35mm, 105mm, and 50mm. I also use a 105mm macro lens to shoot ultra-detailed photos!
ARE YOU LICENSED AND DO YOU HAVE LIABILITY INSURANCE?
Yes and yes! I am licensed to operate my business, and I am also insured. I’m happy to provide documents of proof upon request.
DO YOU SHOOT DESTINATION WEDDINGS? WHAT ADDITIONAL FEES ARE ASSOCIATED WITH DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
Yes! I am a wanderluster at heart! I love to travel and am always ready to hit the road or take to the skies to capture your day. I do charge additional fees to cover travel expenses and accommodations. Simply let me know your destination when you fill out our inquiry form!
WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS AND YOU’RE UNABLE TO SHOOT MY WEDDING?
All of my wedding collections include a second shooter that I hand select and trust wholeheartedly. If any unforeseen event occurs, I will communicate this as soon as possible and find a suitable replacement photographer or offer a full refund of all payments. Additionally, within your contract, you will have information regarding an emergency contact and my second shooter contact.

Style & Quality Questions
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR PHOTO GALLERY?
For weddings, the timeframe is typically 6-8 weeks. For portrait sessions, it takes an estimated 4 weeks.
HOW ARE THE PHOTOS DELIVERED?
Access to your digital gallery will be sent via email along with a print release.
Your orders physical prints, albums, and USB will be delivered via mail 6-8 weeks after you receive your digital gallery.
WHAT QUALITY AND RESOLUTION DO YOU SHOOT?
I only shoot in RAW files to ensure all data is kept within the image for post-processing. However, the photos uploaded to your client portal will be in JPEG format with the highest resolution settings..
DO YOU PREFER A SHOT LIST?
Yes…and no. The only shot list I need is of any family or special shots that are significant for you. (For my big day, I made sure we took a photo that mimicked my parent’s wedding!)
Otherwise, you can feel confident that I will get all the traditional shots and every moment in between, like the ring exchange, first kiss, first dance, etc. I put all my effort into guaranteeing you have a full gallery of one-of-a-kind, romantic, and timeless portraits.

Booking Questions
HOW FAR AHEAD OF TIME SHOULD WE BOOK?
I typically advise all couples to book 6-12 months in advance to secure your day(s). Virtually all of my weekends are reserved just for weddings. To secure your date, your personalized proposal and contract must be signed, along with a 50% non-refundable retainer payment.
IF AN UNFORESEEN EVENT OCCURS AND WE DECIDE TO CANCEL OUR WEDDING, DO WE GET OUR MONEY BACK?
Depending on the situation, you will receive half of your payment back (excluding the non-refundable retainer payment).
WE WANT TO TAKE PHOTOS AT A COOL LOCATION. WILL WE NEED A PERMIT?
Most wedding venues do not require a permit, but there may be special locations that do. In those instances, you will be responsible for obtaining the permit(s). If you have questions about a unique location or space, let me know and I can help you determine whether a permit is required!
